Art Deco Planter
France
Circa 1920s
This very high style art deco accent piece is a hard to find item. They just didn't make many planters during this period. A really high quality piece of artwork.

Koken Barber Shop Coat Tree/Hat Rack
United States
Circa 1920
Everybody is always looking for a place to hang their coats. This is the one! These are so rare because they were only for commercial use. Those that do exist always have broken hooks. This one is pristine. The hooks themselves have the original nickle plating. The blue base is actually porcelain, as in your stove, refrigerator, and those barber chairs that were made in the 20's. This isn't going to fall over. The center pole has been repainted white. It can easily be painted over to your liking. That section is made out of wood. This will easily fit into a residential setting. This coat tree does indeed bear the Koken label. Everybody knows that stands for "excellence in barber supplies." One rarely gets a shot at such a magnificent piece of furniture to "hang your hat on." Who's going to be the lucky one? The diameter measurement is from hook to hook.

Inkwell
France
Circa 1900
Very handsome and impressive gilt bronze and sienna marble inkwell. There is a reason sienna marble is considered by most to be the most desirable of all the different types of marble. That rich, creamy yellow with the black veining is candy for the eyes. Note the 4 cast bronze claw feet to enhance the look.

Salesman's SampleModel Woodburning Cook Stove
United States or England
Circa 1900
Where do we begin to describe this unbelievably unique model? It has so many wonderful parts: the doors open, ceramic tile back and floor, nickel surround, nickel tools. The stove itself is made primarily of painted metal and nickeled metal. The backing is wood. It all rests on an oak flooring. The cabinet is mahogany and made by W. Brown, Jr. It comes from the Gamble estate from Proctor & Gamble. The front door easily lifts off to get to the parts. We've never seen anything like this. The measurements include the outer case.
